The 2nd Annual Empowering Women Conference sponsored by Region 1 Workforce Women’s Business Center will be held at Tamarack on June 1, 2006 from 9-4. The Oak Hill BPW holds their regular meeting on the 4th Monday of each month at 6:00 pm at the Quality Inn in Fayetteville, WV.

Equal Pay Day is in April because April is symbolic of the time in the year through which a woman must work to earn the wages paid to a man in the previous year. |
